I’m all over the neti pot. It is hard to convince others of its magic, but, for me, it’s the only way to flush out the nasal grime. Thanks!

I LOVE my neti pot! I got a terrible cold last year. I even ended up having to quickly make a trip to the doctor because my asthma got so bad I was having a lot of trouble breathing and was put on heavy doses of oral and inhaled steroids. Anyway I can’t take decongestants because my resting heart rate is 90-100 and I have slightly high blood pressure, both of which are made worse when you use decongestants. Also both get raised due to asthma meds anyway.

So I used my neti pot every few hours. It was so hopeful in letting me get a little sleep. I use it for allergies as well.

Year before last I had surgery to remove a tumor around my pituitary and they went through my nose. Ever since then I am super prone to sinus infections and stuffy noses. My Ear Nose & Throat surgeon recommended this and it really does work.

It does feel really odd until you get used it. Kind of like when you get pool water up your nose when swimming, except it doesn’t burn at all. But you feel SO much better afterwards.

I can try Lisa The sensation is one that takes some getting use to. You probably want to perform the process alone and you definitely don’t want to look in the mirror while you are doing it cuz you don’t want to laugh. Read the directions all the way through. Twice.
