Review: Kate Earl

music Review: Kate EarlWhen I received a copy of Kate Earl's album to review, I was already familiar with her song "Melody", which had been an iTunes song of the week recently (My tip: ALWAYS download the free song of the week – a lot of them are pretty good, and you'll find some artists you may be less familiar with).

This whole album is enjoyable – it moves between a more mellow soulful pop sound and songs that are a bit more uptempo. Kate Earl's music has a bit of an Ingrid Michaelson feel – this Alaskan-born artist has a bit of the same folky vibe that Ingrid is known for.

My favorite tracks on the album are "All I Want", "Jump" and "Everlasting".
