Review of Five For Fighting's New Album "Slice"

Five For Fighting, "Slice"I fell in love with John Ondrasik's voice when the song Superman (It's Not Easy) , inspired by the events of 9/11, hit the radio years ago. Today, John Ondrasik - performing under the stage name Five for Fighting – releases the new album Slicemusic Review of Five For Fightings New Album Slice.

With his distinctive voice and radio friendly piano melodies, Five for Fighting has released a solid album that has been in rotation on my iPod for the past few days. Stand out songs include "Chances"music Review of Five For Fightings New Album Slice , the first release from the album, as well as "This Dance"music Review of Five For Fightings New Album Slice and "Transfer"music Review of Five For Fightings New Album Slice.

There are a few songs that seem out of place in this collection (The song "Hope" in particular seems to be a frequent target of my "NEXT" button). If you are a fan of Five for Fighting's style, you'll enjoy "Slice" – which remains true to the sound that you're probably used to. The melodies and hooks are truly infectious – and you'll likely find yourself (as I have) humming along after your first listen.
