Remember those old scratch & sniff books that we used to have when we were kids? My brother and I loved those, but they're hard to find these days. I recently found out that you can make your own!
The people over at Wondetime(a Disney publication) have given step-by-step directions on how to create your very own scratch & sniff art with a little water and Kool-Aid. My kids aren't quite able to draw out the fruit bowl as suggested, so I sketched out a few of our favorite fruits and let them paint those.
They had fun. The cleanup was easy. And my dining room now smells very sweet!

What a great idea! This would be a fantastic activity for a little girls Strawberry Shortcake party….wish I had a girl. As it is, we'll paint some fruit pages and love it! Thanks for sharing.
We've been doing this for years and it's so much fun. We just did Halloween scratch and sniff painting, which is another tradition here. http://magical-mama.livejournal.com/66305.html Grape and orange make the perfect orange and black for this.
