Set a Guinness World Record with your Jeans

Summer is fast approaching which means out with the jeans and in with the shorts. It also means the end of another school year which = lots of out-grown over-worn blue jeans.
Wondering what to do with all those jeans?
How about donating them to National Geographic Kids: "Send us your old jeans and other denim clothes and help us create the world’s largest collection of clothes to recycle."

Wondering what they are going to do with all that denim?
All donated denim with be sent to COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.® to be recycled into UltraTouch™ Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation, which will be used to help build houses in places that have been damaged by hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters.
Your jeans will not only help set a world record, they will help keep clothes out of landfills and insulate houses for families! How cool is that?

Did you know that it takes about 500 pairs of jeans to recycle enough denim to insulate one average-size U.S. house.
That means that they need A LOT of jeans!!!
As of May 21st they have collected 14,634 pairs, including a pair from Ben Stiller!
