Continuing my series on stylish options for nursing moms, I bring you some more companies that are making pretty & functional nursing clothes! First, we have the aptly-named Boob Maternity & Nursingwear. This Swedish company has some seriously gorgeous designs. They sent me the nursing tunic pictured above (in a really cute plaid print) and it is just lovely! The smocking lifts up for easy nursing, and the flowing sleeves and overall design is very forgiving and flattering! This is a great top to wear with leggings or skinny jeans.
Wanna go more casual? Boob also sent me this super-cute nursing hoodie! Great for being comfy and cute anytime!
Next is something I REALLY wish I’d had when I was nursing: a nursing tank from the shapewear experts at Yummie Tummie. I really cannot think of a more perfect item for a post-partum, newly nursing mama!
This fabulous tank not only provides support and easy access for nursing, it’s also a shaper to keep your post-partum tummy tucked in where you want it! What a great accessory to help a new mama be fashionable after baby. And Yummie Tummie’s, in general are awesome shapers!
Another great shop with stylish offerings for nursing moms is La Dolce Mama. They sent me one of they nursing tanks they offer to review and it was fabulous – great length, easy to un-hook & re-hook, & great stretch! They also offer other great tops with built-in nursing bras like this long-sleeve Glamourmom top. Doesn’t that look great? Perfect for this time of year! AND they also have a great selection of pretty, flirty, saucy nursing bras that even daddy will like! They have so many cute sets – even with matching panties when you wanna be fashionable EVERYWHERE! You’ve gotta check them out!
Finally, here’s a cute accessory I think would be great to throw in the diaper bag of any nursing mama. I’m all for believing nursing mothers should be able to nurse anywhere & everywere their babies need to eat - but if you’re ever in a situation where you feel more comfortable being covered – simply clip this ingenious and fashionable little piece of ribbon on any blanket and make it a nursing cover. It’s adjustable and comes in lots of pretty patterns. It’s called the Peek-a-Boo clip and its from Bebe Dulce (where you can also find all kinds of cute hand-made baby gifts!)
