I’ve loved working on this series of posts about fashionable options for nursing moms. I’m passionate about nursing and I love that companies are making items to helps moms stay stylish while nourishing their babies!
While I’m a big believer that you don’t NEED to cover up while nursing, if you’re mor comfortable being covered in some situations, I recommend a nursing cover like this one fromEtsy seller LillieandBean. I used one similar to this with my kiddos and it was great. A cute print, a structured neckline so you can see baby, and a nice length to keep anything covered that you don’t want showing.
Another thing fashionable nursing mamas need once in a while? A padded nursing bra! Maybe un-padded varieties are more comfortable in most situations, but I know when I was nursing (for a total of 36 months between two kids!) I felt the need for a bra with more structure sometimes, especially when I wanted to dress up. This bra from Maternique is just the thing:

Ok, so this isn’t really a fashion item, but I thought it was so cool I wanted to share! It’s the Shower Hug – a soft but snug wrap to keep your breasts supported in the shower. This is especially great when you’re newly postpartum and dealing with a LOT of milk! I hear they are also really comfy to wear to bed and also provide support for that postpartum belly – you can adjust it to wear it there, too!
