Sometimes it's hard to be pregnant and stylish. I don't know where you live, but around here, my maternity options are pretty limited. It seems that whenever I see a pregnant woman I can immediately tell you where she got her outfit because it was something I tried on last week. But just because I am pregnant, I don't want to abandon my sense of style for 9 months. It is bad enough post baby that I spend a few months in sweatpants with spit up stains down the front.
I have found some great online maternity stores that allow me to sport a unique maternity look like I shopped in a big city boutique while shopping from home in my pjs bottoms. Seriously, you can't beat that. I was recently sent some of these great maternity styles to review and here are my favorites.
Elegant Elle Maternity has a large selection of clothes for your pregnancy and beyond. Not only do they have stylish clothing for you the mama, they also carry skin care lines to keep that pregnancy glow and layette for after the baby is born. Check out this top by Theality that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion. So versatile and can carry you through the whole pregnancy whether you have a tiny bump or a big ole bowling ball in there.

Bella Blu Maternity carries hip, trendy maternity clothes from some of the most well known quality maternity lines like Japanese Weekend and Olian. They also have a whole section dedicated to clothes that help you transition back into your pre-baby clothes (however long that might take) and are easy to nurse in that still allow you to be fashionable. Also if you struggle finding maternity clothes that fit, they carry petite and plus sized maternity clothes. This adorable pink dress is one of their best sellers. They sent it to me to review and I debuted it at BlogHer to rave reviews. Best part is, even though it is dressy enough to wear to a wedding, it is very comfortable so you don't have to be miserable all night.

Finally, Kiki's Fashions offers very affordable, unique clothes that make you feel like you aren't even pregnant. Well, I guess that would be some sort of a miracle, but they can hold their own with any non-maternity outfit. I have this hip maternity tube top that makes me feel like I should hit the town. That is if I had any energy to hit the town.

They also have a large selection of maxi dresses which are the perfect item to take you throughout your pregnancy and beyond. I found their clothing tends to run a little small so you might want to order a size up from what you usually get.
So now, my pregnant friends, you have no excuse for looking frumpy while pregnant. Well except that you aren't getting any sleep because you are uncomfortable from heartburn and the constant leg cramps. But maybe your stylish outfit is the perfect thing to distract from those large bags under your eyes. Here's hoping.
