I must say my favorite way to use dried fruit is snacking and pinepaple (while I’ve never had this brand) is one of my favorites. How awesome would it be to try for free!!

My daughter won’t each much besides fruit (and cheese), so we love dried cherries, strawberries, and blueberries for an afternoon snack between school pickup and dinner. We put the dried fruit in a small bowl with broken up/crushed granola and she gobbles it up. She refuses to eat granola (or any product like that) without the fruit mixed in.

We personally love the Sunsweet little paks of prunes for on the go. There are 3-4 soft, plump, moist prunes per little packet–perfect for throwing in a purse or backpak. Which is exactly what we did this summer while visiting the DC area!! They were delicious. I would love coupons to surprise my college daughter with a package in the mail.

The BEST way to enjoy dried fruit is with a chocolate fountain! It’s safer because your fruit isn’t likely to slide off the skewer like fresh fruit would, and it’s still super tasty!

I am game because you will not believe what I’ve gotten into…prunes. Sunsweet’s actually but I keep them at my desk. Orangette does a beautiful prune cake and I love using dried fruits in pilafs and tagines. They provide the perfect balance of sweet to the savory and don’t add a lot of fat to the dish!
