How do you show someone that you appreciated their kind act of service? It can be something as simple as a smile and a thank you card. That always does the trick.
However, if you've really had someone touch your life and you'd like to thank them in a more unique way here are a few handmade gift ideas that will let you know how much you appreciate them.

'Thank you for "chews"-ing us. We had a ball!' Kelly received this thoughtful thank you gift. (Tip: You can get jars like these at Wal-mart of all places.)
Talk about a beautiful and yummy gift for any occasion!
Taylor designed this amazing chocolate delight out of a set of frappuccino bottles!
Katie & Amanda made a tutorial on how to make a
Movie Gift Basket. This would also make a great thank you gift.
Niki decorated some tins to make a coco gift set but you could use this container to house anything.
Nichole Heady created this
ice cream sundae basket as a gift for her extended
family for Christmas. However, I think this would make an impressive "get well" or thank you gift anytime.
If you're looking for more
homemade gift ideas there are many more tutorials over on Tip Junkie.
