I have a kind of Tuscan themed kitchen. I put decorative runners down the front of the curtains to add color. The runners pull the curtain up and fasten up at the back top....they turned out really cute, and you're right! Burlap is very versatile. I actually made curtains out of burlap, and it worked great!
