The most emotional season ever has come to a close. But of course, there is itty bit of drama thrown in. It's "real"ity t.v., it's a given.
It's Jill's turn for happiness, according to her mother. Jill's family is in Hawaii and it's time to introduce the final two men to mom, dad, cousin Tori, and grandma. Ed is introduced first and is eager to explain his reasoning for leaving the show and then coming back. He fears that this will put a shadow on his PINK shirt…er chances of winning over Jillian's family, but explaining why he came back seemed to redeem him a bit. Tossing out that he was "married to his job" just doesn't play over well with me, but hey, i'm already married.
Jill's mother drills him with her 66 questions, and Ed tells Jill's dad that he is in love with her! In fact, also adding that he'd like to propose. Mr. Harris replies he'd be "quite happy" with the proposal, even adding, "I'd do somersaults!"
Kiptyn and Jill make out (no really!?) more than they talk and right before meeting her parents is no different. Kiptyn wins the hearts of cousin Tori, grandma and mom by making them feel he's Jillian's yin to her yang. Dad still is wanting to get back to that coconut-bra dance with Ed from the day prior. It's obvious Jill is torn and in love with two men!
Later Ed tells Jillian he will never leave her again, I was hoping for a "I will never wear these 1970's shorts again.." but hey, can't have it all. Kiptyn finally lays it all out, "i'm falling in love with you, come to San Diego." Is it too late?
The final rose ceremony has Jillian ready to turn down one man, who will it be coming out of that limo? AHH, it's Kiptyn. After again, spilling his heart, Jill explains she's in love with another man. He's hurt, crushed. In the limo ride home, he has tears.
Next up, the limo with Ed….wait…a minivan!? It's REID! Reid is back and walks down to greet a shocked Jillian in his bright white sneakers and suit-like something or another. Reid is here to open his heart to Jillian like he should have um…3 episodes ago! He gets down on a knee to propose and for a minute there, she's thinking about it. She actually puts him on hold and goes to chat with Chris.
Ultimately she turns down Reid. A little too late. Oh the heartbreak.
Ed finally comes down to see Jillian and she all but squeals. He tells her all she wants to hear and gets down on his knee and proposes. She's dancing, jumping, giddy, and says yes!
Will they turn out to be the next Trista and Ryan!? Will we watch their wedding on ABC? Will Ed still have his job!? Stay tuned…After the Finale Rose airs tonight!!
