The Sweet Smell

beauty The Sweet SmellI tend to be a sucker for a good scented candle.  I'll gladly display them around the house, but I love having them in the bathroom on the off chance I get to enjoy a quiet bubble bath without the children right outside the door.  I was lucky enough to receive the most amazing scented candle  from the Aspen Bay Candle Company this past holiday season.  It has become my new favorite indulgence.

The candle I received is part of the George Carruth Candle Collection.  George Carruth is known for his whimsical home and garden sculptures.  I actually used to live just a few miles from where he created his Garden Smiles line and never knew that his design would become the inspiration for my favorite candle!  This candle collection is not only beautiful to look at, but the smell is wonderful.  It is clean, not too heavy, and embodies the essence of Spring.  The scent is a combination of berries and pomegranates and the candle lasts for more than 40 hours.

I love the fact that this candle is like a piece of art.  It can be enjoyed even when it is not lit.  There are so many different designs and scents to choose from that the possibilities are almost endless.  It is easy to find one that fits your personality and your decor.  Plus, now knowing how phenomenal the scent truly is, I will gladly give these candles as gifts for all different occasions.
