  1. I bottle fed my twins. They are adopted and that was just the option I chose. When they were newborn, it was easy to feed them, I would sit cross legged and put them both in my lap. As they grew, I would put one in the "boppy" and hold the other one. I made sure to alternate which one was held so that they were both held frequently. Neither of the boys held their bottles until they were quite old. I also didn't allow them to eat at different times. Feeding was done on a schedule. I didn't use a cute little rocking chair, I had a couch. (Although those cute little rocking chairs are adorable ~ it wasn't practical for a mom holding two infants.) Bottle feeding twins is very expensive, and I went through a ton of bottles. I made sure I had enough bottles to feed both boys all day. At night, I would wash/sterilize/etc. all of the bottles for the next day ~ and then start all over again. I was always very appreciative when friends would stop by at feeding time. Accept the little times people are willing to help. I've found that having twins sometimes scares people. They don't know what to do or how to act. They simply stare in awe. (or fear.)
