It' summer time and my all-time fave accessory is–you guessed it–tank tops. I love wearing halters, spaghetti straps, criss-cross straps and even strapless tops. But my one problem was my arms–they were "jiggly-wiggly" as my son so lovingly pointed out.
Here's how I changed that:
- Weight Up ~ Using weights when you run or speed walk provides just the right amount of resistance to help sculpt the arms, back and shoulders. 3lb weights are light and easy to maneuver, especially when jogging.
- Roll, roll, roll your arms ~ arm rolls are one of the best and inexpensive arm exercises there are. Alternating between large and small rolls as well as forward and backward rolls will help improve muscle definition.
- Raise the roof ~ we all know the dance move only when we do it for exercise we extend our arms upward and act as though we are pushing against an invisible barrier. Imagination a little sketchy? Well, grab some light weights and you'll have all the resistance you need!
The key to fabulous, toned arms is repetition, consistency and variety. Don't be afraid to mix it up or be creative but most important, make sure you have a bit of fun in the process!
Note: when using weights, it's best to do them 2 to 3 times per week, instead of every day.

I lov e this! Have the same problem about toning my flabby arms. You're right, consistency is the key. Thanks for the tips!
Oh boy you said the "c" word! LOL. But you're absolutely right, it's all about consistency.
