My husband and I just got a 2nd dog, who seems to develop an odor much faster than our other canine friend. I'm super paranoid about my house smelling "like dog." In addition, our 2nd little friend here also sheds much more than I like. We bought the Ferminator hairbrush which is helping a lot, so I was wondering if you have tried it and have any comparison to the shedding tool you mention above?? That really makes our carpets yucky (I won't moan about my desire for hard-wood floors)! So, I am definitely going to try the cotton-ball-in-the-vacuum-bag tip.
