When I picked her up my dad and my daughter looked shaken up, she had JUST been choking on a piece of hard candy and my dad gave her the Heimlich! He could not breath and fell face forward into the floor, it terrified me! Thankfully, my aunt was able to use the Heimlich maneuver and dislodge the obstruction. I think this kit is great! We were walking and while the dog was playing he somehow got a puncture wound from a fairly large stick. We weren't really sure what the best treatment was, if stiches were necessary, etc. We ended up having to go the the emergency vet just to be safe. We were literally in the middle of nowhere, no cell service, nothing but my teeny little first aid kit (which was basically two bandaids and a couple of cleaning wipes). We ended up patching him up with duct tape and a beach towel. The talking first aid kit would've really been handy.
