You Can Learn A Lot From The Flowers…

Spring is right around the corner. With the warmer weather photography You Can Learn A Lot From The Flowers...comes many beautiful and colorful flowers. Though they are just sitting there still and gorgeous they can still be difficult to photograph.

Here are some simple tips to help you capture all those gorgeous blossoms around you.

  • Use a tripod. This will keep your camera steady and still. Try to pick a non-windy day so the flower will be still too!
  • Pick your subject carefully. Pick a blossom or group of blossoms that has nice shape and color. Clean up the area by removing dead leaves, petals or branches.
  • To get rid of the harsh light use a fill-in flash. You can also use a plain white paper above the flowers to soften the light from above.
  • Set your camera to the "flower mode," or for a DSLR use a macro lens to get in as close as you can. You may be amazed at the details you can capture.

This is definitely a love of mine. I feel one with nature, and it makes me beyond happy to freeze what I see there in time.
