Welcome, ladies, to I am Blissfully Domestic, Christmas Edition. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only three days away. Three days!! So are you all ready for the big day? Cookies baked and frosted? Gifts wrapped and bowed? Halls decked with boughs of holly? Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Classic Christmas Movies

One thing I love about Christmas is the plethora of Christmas movies.  I have a number of favorites that I have to see every year like A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, A Christmas Story, and Christmas Vacation. However, there’s one I love above most others and that’s Meet Me in St. Louis. Judy Garland and Margaret O’Brien are wonderful. The music is fantastic. Judy Garland sang the song Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas in this film.  Can you believe it’s only being broadcast only once this season, and at 1:0oam Christmas Day. What’s up with that? This is one of the greats, a true classic, and it’s only being aired one time in the middle of the night. Bah humbug.  I’ll have to TiVo it.

I want to thank all the ladies who participated in last week’s I am Blissfully Domestic. Be sure to say hello to Tara @ Feels Like Home and read about her daughter’s cute Little People Nativity set. I got that same set for my son a few years ago, but the little characters have since been scattered hither and yon throughout our house.  It’s too bad, too, because it’s the only set we’d be able to put up right now with our two younger kids.
