I enjoy baking, whether it’s bread, cookies, or cakes. One of the reasons is the aroma that fills the house. As much as I love that, I don’t bake very often. I think it’s because I dislike the cleanup afterward more than I love to eat what I have just baked. The mess that results from an afternoon of measuring, sifting, and mixing can be a bit overwhelming and until I can figure out a fast and easy cleanup system I will probably continue to be a once-in-a-while baker.
It’s because of the this I am in awe of women who work hard to make food from scratch for their families on a regular basis. Lynn at Lynn’s Kitchen Adventures even made her own vanilla extract in an effort to avoid processed foods. You won’t believe the recipe.
Have fun linking your posts and reading everyone else’s. Don’t forget to stop by at least 5 posts and leave some comment love. And be adventurous. Instead of starting at the beginning of the Mr. Linky list, how about starting in the middle. Take a walk the wild side. Ha!

Thanks!
I can’t wait to read all of the links. The link I left is a recipe I did for my daughter’s first birthday cake: a bath tub cake. She loves her bath time.
I cant wait to visit all the links. Looks like a lot of great posts.
Looking forward to reading all the posts. Looks like a lot of good recipes especially. I posted a short story about my 3 year old son, called unexpected generosity.
I am loving all the great recipes and homemaking tips I have come across here. I hope to contribute any way I can. I am new to homemaking and loving it! Ahh, bliss.
Once again . . . a big THANK YOU for hosting. Always a FUN place to be.
