It’s so nice when you’ve got someone to help you out when you’re not feeling that great. I’m sick for what feels like the hundredth time this season. I’m congested and have quite a bit of pressure and pain behind my cheeks and in my forehead. Thankfully, my mom has been here to visit the past couple of days. She’s taken care of all three kids (my kindergartner is on Spring break), has made us dinner, and has just all around helped out around the house. Thank God for our moms, right?
Anyway, I’m keeping this week’s post short. Because I’m really desperate for Spring to arrive – we’re still in the 30′s here – stop by Conny at From the Heart of My “Haus” and stake a look at her post about Spring Cleaning.
I saw quite a new participants last week. Thanks so much for joining our little link party. If you’re new as well, please check out our guidelines below.

I hope you feel better and that spring comes quickly to your door!
So nice you have some help when you aren’t feeling good. Thanks for hosting!

Aww, Kim, I hope you feel better soon. For sinus pain, take a hot hot shower to open your sinuses, and use hot-as-you-can-stand-it compresses on your face, eyes, nose area, and blow it all out when it’s opened up for you. And advil, lots and lots of advil for the pain, hon. *hugs*
Kim, have you tried nasal spray to clear up the congestion? Very few medicines are quick acting and work noticeably like nasal spray for me.
I’m so sorry you’re not well. I had two sinus infections almost consecutively. My doctor told me to avoid sugar…all sugar…even from fresh fruit and juice. The bacteria feeds on the sugar. It was hard but it made a huge difference the second time around. That one wasn’t as bad and went away faster…and without drugs, I might add, which typically make me sleepy or jittery like I’ve had one too many Starbucks drinks.
Hope you get well soon.
