My favorite season, hands down, is Spring. Having lived in warm climates my whole life, leaving the cold behind is something I dearly look forward to. Many of us tend to prepare for sandals and a deep-cleaning and starting our gardens when we think of Spring. Here are some spring things to think about:

Depending on where you live, starting some of your seedlings indoors should be done soon. Make sure to order early any seeds if you plan on getting them through the mail before spring planting.

Why not get a jump on Spring cleaning and de-clutter? De-cluttering now will make all that dusting and vacuuming a whole lot easier to do.

As your local weather starts warming up, go ahead and weed through your spring and summer clothing. Give away what
you don’t need.

Purchase now any items or tools you will need for deep cleaning later. Maintenance your vacuum, either professionally or yourself; changing belts, taking off the beater bar and cleaning that, and wiping down the outside to clear it of dust will make your cleaning process smoother as well as keep your vacuum running longer.

Assess the area outside your home. Will any repairs need to be made on your patio, decking, or front porch? If you have a pool, what will you need to do to be ready for that to be filled up? Check your gutters and make sure they are not loose.
Of course, each family’s needs are going to be different. Adjust your plans accordingly and get ready to enjoy the
beautiful season of Spring.
