About Shopping Golightly
My husband and I have been married nearly 13 years and have two beautiful daughters that I call Poe and little Pie. I’ve worked in the non-profit, corporate, and municipal sectors. For the last ten years I’ve mostly been at home with my daughters taking on massive volunteer projects at their schools and within the community with some contracting on the side. Too many people told me I need to write so I started The Thrifty Chicks blog with a few good girlfriends where I write as Ms. Shopping Golighlty. Our blog is dedicated to promoting the charitable thrift store in the hopes we will help build a more robust repurposing market in the US. Repurposing is green, economically sustainable, and helps many charities repurpose lives in need. Just a few days ago, I started my second blog, Mommy Golightly. This blog is dedicated to helping parents live the enchantment and joy of their children’s lives. The first post tells the story of how Mommy Golightly was born. It’s a hard story but something good came of it. I’d be humbled if you read it and would hope you would find something of deep value in it.Posts by Shopping Golightly
