A simple way to add to the shelf-life of your homeschool curriculum is to take the books that you’ll be using frequently — particularly those with reproducible pages of which you’ll be making copies — and have the bindings cut and the pages 3-hole drilled. This can be done quickly and inexpensively at most copy or office supply stores.
I like to have the bindings cut and the pages, but not the covers, 3-hole drilled. Then, I can put the pages in a three-ring binder and the front and back covers into the clear sleeves on the front and back of the binder.
This greatly lengthens the life of your homeschool curriculum without, in my experience, lessening the resale value.
