I couldn’t agree more. I was homeschooled and that was the biggest and most asked question…”how do you socalize?” And questions along the lines of being socalized.
It was always such an insult to me. I was very socalized…likely more than my public school friends as I socalized with younger kids, older kids and adults.
I knew how to interact with people and not just kids my own age. In the real world you usually do work with a variety of ages in your career…that’s how life is.
The best come back I’ve heard to “What about socialization?” is
“We’re not socialists, so I’m not really worried.”
