Meet our first Homeschooler of the Week!
Travis is 13 years old and lives in Ocala, Florida.
How long he’s been a Homeschooler? 5 years
What he likes most about Homeschooling? That we are free to use any curriculum we want and it’s not such a stress to do the work. I can just take my time to learn it at my own pace.
What he likes least about Homeschooling? The book reports.
His favorite subject? Math
What he wants to be when he grows up? Either a video game designer, a toy designer, or a Manga Author
We have no idea what a ‘Manga Author’ is, but we think Travis is pretty cool so we’re sending him a $10 gift certificate to Chick-Fil-A!

Manga is sort of anime, but in book form.
Manga – Japanese graphic novels, not unlike our own comic books. Generally, “anime” is considered a form of Manga, although Manga takes a much more serious outlook on the artform.
Congratulations on being named the first homeschooler. My son is also 13 and likes the Manga books on The Warriors series by Erin Hunter.
