How to Make Playdough (Play-doh) – More cool how to projects
Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups heated water
1 Cup Salt
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Tablespoon Cream of Tartar
Scented oils and food coloring are optional but super fun steps.
Heat the entire playdough mixture until it begins to clump together in the middle of the bowl. It will look messy but if it’s sticky you need to cook it a touch longer.
Cool it enough to be able to handle it, and knead it until it’s smooth and uniform throughout. Add a drop or two of food coloring and continue mixing (cover your hands or you’ll stain your skin!) until the color is uniformly worked throughout the dough ball you’re working on.
Store in airtight containers or plastic wrap and use a dab of water if you notice that it’s beginning to dry out.
