If I told you there was a high quality online game that will actually help your children memorize their multiplications tables, you would be skeptical? Of course, we are homeschooling moms, we’ve seen it all! What if I told you that your kids would beg to play and it is free?
Prepare to be impressed, my friends. Melissa Wiley shared this great tip on her site with readers last month- Timez Attack. It is made with the same technology that fancy-schmancy video games are made. My kids do not yet play video games, but I do happily let my third grader play this game daily. He is actually memorizing those tough times tables.
The multiplication game is absolutely free. My guess is the program is so good that customers go ahead and buy the other ones. I am about to purchase the subtraction one for my younger son. Give it a try and be sure to let me know what you think!

We own Timez Attack. It was worth it to us to purchase the full copy, as it adds a robot level and a lava level not accessible in the free online version.
Yes it plays just like a ‘real’ video game.
My daughter (10 yrs) says it is “Great! Best video game I ever played. It taught me so much!”
My son (9 yrs) has a pretty tender heart and finds it to be kind of scary. It’s not… but he thinks it is. It’s actually kind of funny watching him run from the troll that wants him to answer the questions! It just chases him and then stands there patiently waiting for an answer.
My kids love to play the free math games at http://www.iknowthat.com.
My kids love Timez Attacks.
I’ve been looking for a “free” multiplication game for my 8 year old. Just looking at the screen shots it looks perfect. Thanks so much.
Looks like a fun game. I have a kindergartener that loves math. He’ll probably enjoy this. Thanks for the tip.
Great game!
Looks great- thanks for sharing!!
The game is awesome!!!! Thank you for sharing it. I have a child who hates math and struggles daily during our lessons. He is certainly jumping all over this, and is learning at the same time. Thank you many times over for sharing!
