This is a great project for Birthdays, but change up the papers and it becomes a perfect project for Halloween, Christmas, or any holiday or celebration…

You will need:

• A few sheets of patterned scrapbooking paper and a few sheets of solid scrapbooking paper
• adhesive of your choice
• a regular size hole punch
• and ribbon.

Quantities vary based on how long your banner is.

These are 4.5 inch circles and about 2.5 inch letters, both made from a die cut machine at a local craft store. For this sign I cut out 12 brown circles, 12 pink circles and 24 letters. If you can get your hands on some letters, then an upside down cup and a pencil will work for the circles.

Put adhesive on the back of the letter, then center the letter on the circle and press firmly.

Punch out two holes at the top of each circle for the ribbon.

Pick out a ribbon color. My ribbon is 2.5 inches wide.

After estimating how long the banner will be, lace the ribbon through the circles, starting with the first letter of the banner, and leaving enough ribbon for the rest of the letters.

Make sure to leave enough ribbon at each end to hang the banner.
