If you are a Charlotte Mason homeschooler and keeping a Book of Centuries (or would like to start), here is a printable form that includes all of the centuries on one page (click on the form for the pdf).
I created this form so that we could see, at a glance, where various people/events fit into history. Additionally, as eclectic homeschoolers, I wanted to reference the four historical periods used in the Classical Christian approach.
To use:
- Fill in the top line with the name of the person/event you are studying along with the pertinent date(s).
- Mark the date(s) on the timeline.
- Fill the page with photos, drawings, notes, or anything else you wish to include about the person/event.
- Record the date in “Today’s Date.”
- Hole punch it, and file it in a binder (your “Book of Centuries”) according to the date(s).
