Turkeys are a traditional Thanksgiving menu staple. But did you know that many turkeys receive a pardon each year? The most famous turkeys are those pardoned by the President of The United States. This year is the 60th anniversary of the Turkey Pardoning tradition. This lucky turkey also gets flown first class to Disney World to be the Grand Marshal in their Thanksgiving Day parade and then lives out his life being petted at Mickey’s house. Not a bad gig for a turkey.

This year 2 lucky Turkeys, May and Flower, received an official pardon from the President.
