The United States of America celebrates and honors its Veterans on November 11 each year. Veterans Day is a day to honor ALL of our nation’s Veterans both living and dead.

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs has an excellent Teacher’s Guide that can be adapted for home education.

The VA Kids site is another good place to learn about our veterans and is geared specifically to students.

If you know a Veteran, please thank them for their service today. If you don’t know a Veteran, please seek one out and thank them. Our Veterans deserve our gratitude.
