2. If the mistake doesn’t make sense, don’t immediately correct them. Wait to see if they notice that it doesn’t make sense. They might try to go back and fix it without you saying anything.

4. “Did that make sense?”

5. “Did what you read look right and sound right?”

If they still can’t get it…

6. Tell them the word.
