I have so enjoyed hearing from many of you about the sweet and heroic and chivalrous and thoughtful things your husbands do for you! It’s very heart warming to see a man as a husband through his wife’s eyes.
This week, we’ll shake things up a bit. I do not have a post from anyone and I’m attending the Type-A Mom Conference in Asheville this weekend so my schedule is little out of whack. So, what I’d like you do you is take a moment, reflect over the past week or so and tell us in the comments one thing your husband did for you that deserves some bragging.
You can probably already figure out what mine would be, if I’m at a conference without my family, that means somebody is doing mommy and daddy duty for a few days! I’m very grateful to my husband for supporting me in this “blogging thing” and encouraging me to venture out, meet new people, learn new things and have fun! He helps me recognize that I’m still me inside, not just a mom and homemaker, and the me inside still needs to grow and stretch her legs everyone now and then!
Your turn, go ahead, brag on him!

Although my husband is here with me at the conference, he got the kids up, bathed them and dressed (they are at KidCon). Then he packed for them and packed the car. He doesn’t always remember to do big things but he does a lot of little things that are so nice!

My amazing husband took our two oldest sons (5 yr old stayed with me) on an overnight fishing trip with his dad. He gets what I call “Pre-Trip Syndrome”, so I typically vacate the house while he gets ready to go. When I got home, he was just pulling out of the driveway. He got out of his car to come kiss me goodbye and told me to have an enjoyable couple of days. OK – not so bad.
I walked into my house and saw an amazingly clean kitchen. He’d done all of the dishes (dishwasher was even empty!), cleaned the stove top, and turned on my Scentsy. Lastly, he left me a note on the fridge saying he loved me.
Made me want to chase the man down the street and bring him right back home!
