When it comes to handing out blame regarding how good or bad things are in the bedroom, men are often targeted over women. However, both sexes share equally in making sure that sexual interactions are satisfying and fulfilling. And instead of assuming that your man is making all the mistakes, look at your own behavior and see where you can improve and make some changes.
WebMD has a great article, 6 Sex Mistakes Women Make and Why, that gives insight into our own issues with sex that lead to the mistakes we make. And by mistakes, they are not talking technique or the wrong lingerie, it’s things like:
- Worrying About You Look Like – “men don’t notice half the things women obsess about”
- Believing He’s Always Up for Sex – “The pressures of everyday life — family, work, bills — can zap a man’s libido. This comes as a big surprise to many women, and often his lack of interest in sex is something we take personally.”
- and Getting Upset When He Suggests Something New – “Just because your man wants to try something new doesn’t mean he’s unhappy with you or your sex life.”
If things have been so-so in the intimacy department, it’s time to step up and take charge of your own satisfaction. Look at the article and be honest with yourself, “Am I doing any of these things?”. If the answer is yes, be committed to at least trying to make a change. I think you’ll be pleased with the results!
