Chances are, you personally know someone who has been directly affected by our fledgling economy. That person may even be you or a close friend or relative. And if it’s a married couple, the stress of job loss or reduced income can really put the marriage vows to the test. For some, they are still together but very unhappy and others even find themselves divorcing but unable to live apart because the house can’t be sold and a second residence is unaffordable.
