Don’t tell me God does not have a sense of humor. Here I am reviewing a book on intimate issues and I am a girl who still runs to the bathroom to change clothes. (it is ok to laugh)
Talking about intimate things is not something I do easily except with the ones closest to me, but this book is a reference book I believe every woman should read. It should be required reading for women who are getting married and women who are already married. I have been married for 15 years and I still learned something new in Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus’ book “Intimate Issues.”
- · “How can I be godly and sensuous?”
· “What do I do when I don’t want to do it?”
· “What’s not okay in bed?”
21 Questions Christian Women Ask About Sex by Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus. Many Christian women find it confusing to figure out what God would or would not approve of between a husband and wife. I found the answers to be Biblical and helpful. This is the book I wish I read before I got married! There are even answers to questions you may not even ask your Mom or sister.
The authors lead the reader through an in-depth study of Songs of Solomon and show how God approves and designed us to love our husbands in creative ways. Even if you struggle in this area, Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus tackle some of the obstacles and how to overcome them.
About the book:
Intimate Issues answers the twenty-one questions about sex most frequently asked by Christian wives, as determined by a nationwide poll of over one thousand women. Written from the perspective of two mature Christian wives and Bible teachers – women who you’ll come to know as teachers and friends – Intimate Issues is biblical and informative: sometimes humorous, other times practical, but always honest. Through its solid teaching, warm testimonials, scriptural insights, and experts’ advice, you’ll find resolution for your questions and fears, surprising insights about God’s perspective on sex, and a variety of practical and creative ideas for enhancing your physical relationship with the husband you love.
