Yesterday, Frank and Anita Milford of Plymouth, Devon (GB) celebrated their 81st wedding anniversary!

What’s their advice to the rest of us?
Mrs. Milford:

“Couples these days don’t last long because they often don’t take enough time for each other. There just isn’t enough respect – love is about give and take. Our advice to young couples would be to make time for a little romance every day.”

Mr. Milford:

“To win over your sweetheart you need a dose of old-fashioned chivalry and don’t let your standards slip.”

Eighty-one years! That is awesome. I doubt I’ll live long enough to reach that feat.  Happy Anniversary Frank and Anita! Thank you for showing the rest of us how it’s done!
