I’ve never given much thought to how my husband and I sleep (yes, literally sleep) together. It comes up in conversations sometimes with friends, the do you “spoon” or otherwise cuddle, touch a little bit or go to your separate sides of the bed when you sleep kind of discussion.
We are a “go to your separate corners and make no contact until morning” kind of couple. But does that mean there is marital strife? The answer, according to this article, is:
Nah, you’re only normal. Most couples say goodnight with a smile, then settle into a more comfy position.
It’s called “The Roam Zone” on the previously quoted site and “The Cliffhanger” on another site which also goes on to say:
the pose is an elegant expression of two people in sublime agreement about the supremacy of personal comfort. Both parties believe that when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, the sides of the bed are its most prime real estate, and both are practical enough to recognize that the only way for everyone to get the best of the bed is to split up.
What about you? Take a look at the article, “Your Married Sleep Style Decoded” and the come back and tell us which kind of sleeper you are.
Speaking of sleeping…you know we’re giving away a C3 Sleep Number Bed by Select Comfort worth $1300 right? You didn’t? Well then now you need to head over to the Blissful Home channel to enter for your chance to win this amazing bed!

This is an interesting article. I’ve always wondered about what the best sleeping style is.
We are very affectionate when awake but when sleeping we both want our space! We love when we go on vacation and get a king sized bed – all that room! We don’t even share blankets at home (because I am rumored to be a blanket hog).
