Do you wish that you knew more about the economy, but don’t know where to start? Would you like to teach your children about Finances in the simplest way possible?
NURU’s Personal Finance is a deck of 30 ultra-thin, waterproof, and durable pocket-sized plastic cards that take potentially complex topics and break them down into easy, everyday language, using simple examples to make the concepts stick. Such topics include investing, loans, credit, insurance, retirement vehicles, etc.
In short, this an awesome product for parents who want to become more financially literate (particularly important in light of these uncertain and troubling times), as well as for those who want a vehicle to guide financial dinnertime discussions with their families. And because the content comes on portable, nearly indestructible cards, parents can take them anywhere—2 minutes of free time in the day become valuable opportunities for learning.
Would you like to win a set of these cards? You have two chances to do so!
Simply leave a comment here letting us know why you think these cards would be helpful to you!
For your second chance to win, visit Mindi (that’s me!) at Moms Need To Know and follow the instructions there!
This giveaway will close at 8:30pm EST on October 15, 2008 at which time comments will be closed and a winner will be picked via Randomizer!
Good Luck!

I am a homeschool mom who would love to win these cards to help teach personal finance to my son.
Thanks for the chance!
What a useful giveaway prize!
I need so many things…(appliances-windows-etc…) and I am really struggling to budget monthly, maybe the cards could point me in a different direction to be on the right track.
I know finance basics but become easily confused when trying to learn more. These cards look like they would be a lot of help!
I’m most interested in learning how I can save for our daughter’s college. I think this would be a great tool to have and use.
My poor husband is always trying to explain all things financial to me. Thank goodness he understands most of what is going on right now and how the $700 billion bailout is NOT a good idea. I have made attempts to read as much as I can online and in magazines, but most of the time its written in a manner that just doesn’t make sense to me. I would love a chance to win these cards and share them w/ my friends!
I would love those to help me teach my kids. I always wished my parents had taught me more growing up and I want to be able to pass some useful information along to them.
I need to learn as much as I can about budgeting!
i have to plan my budget well in the future.
