All reasoning aside, when a toddler wants something, he wants it NOW. He’s willing to steal it, pitch a fit, or whine in feverish decibels to get what he wants.
If you find yourself getting teary over your neighbor’s 473″ HDTV, or handing over the card yet again because those boots won’t be on sale forever (never mind the 7 pair lined up in your closet) try taming your inner toddler.
Be patient.
Be reasonable.
Practice self-control.
Contemplate the consequences of your purchase.
Practicing responsible money management is no time to behave like a toddler. Save your energy to fight for the last scoop of Moose Tracks ice cream in the freezer.
