Coupons have become synonymous with groceries, but they are available more and more for discount stores, department stores, restaurants, amusement opportunities and family entertainment. There are several ways they are distributed and keeping your eyes peeled for these can stretch your dollar when buying new clothes and afford your family opportunities to have a little extra fun!
Department & Specialty Store Coupons
These can be printed in the sales ads or mailed to your home. Don’t forget to check receipts for survey offers or $ off your next purchase coupons. Many stores offer coupons specific to credit card holders, but they have become available to non-card holders who sign up online or make purchases at their stores and offer phone numbers or an email address.
Signing up for Kohl’s email newsletter gives you a $5 Kohl’s coupon and offering your phone number at specialty stores like Victoria Secret and Bath & Body Works will get you on the mailing list for coupons, offers and discount promotions or you can also sign up on their websites.
Restaurants Coupons & Deals
Email newsletters and online clubs are all the rage at restaurant websites. What was once limited to birthday club deals has expanded and along with the annual birthday specials, you receive offers for buy one get one free meals or buy X and receive Y free. Rubios, Quiznos, Black Angus, TGI Friday’s have sent me fantastic specials recently and it has encouraged a few impromptu dates for my husband and I. Also, don’t forget the Entertainment Book for savings on local dining.
Amusement Opportunities & Family Entertainment
The Entertainment Book is a great resource and includes offers on their website for amusement and entertainment opportunities. Movie ticket discounts, & dollars off admission deals make this book a great investment, especially when you catch it on sale! Cellfire offers coupons on your cell phone for video stores and games rental locations and grocery stores local to amusement parks can be a great place to score discounts tickets or deal packages.
A little planning can go a long way when it comes to saving money on all the extras in life, and keeping the cost down can help keep you from having to cut it all out altogether! Check out the websites of stores, restaurants and entertainment locations in your area and see what they offer. If you are not a fan of email clutter, make sure to set up a separate email account to use especially for emailed savings.
