Did you know there is an Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®? Me, either! It’s this Thursday, March 18th. Founded in 1997 by the Camp Fire USA organization, Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® is a national letter-writing campaign where kids receive letters of support, love and encouragement from parents and adults.
What is Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® all about?
From the Facebook page:
It’s so easy: adults can write letters to their own children, their nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, neighborhood children and even children they’ve never met!
The ultimate goal is for every child in America to receive an Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® letter. With your commitment, we’ll be spreading words of encouragement to America’s youth nationwide!
Camp Fire USA’s website has stationery you can download to write your letter on, or of course, you can also use your own paper or maybe even pick up one of those new encouragement cards for kids from Hallmark!
To find out more about Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® , visit the Camp Fire USA website or their Facebook page.
Remember, Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® is this Thursday, March 18th, so get writing!
