My sister-in-law, marvelous mother of four, pointed me towards Parenting.com’s Child Health Guide.

If you click on the “Diseases” tab, it lists symptoms, and has descriptions, pictures, and video clips of various childhood illnesses.

I first used this site a couple months ago when my daughter had Roseola. I was reassured by being able to look at the picture of what the rash should look like.

Just a few days ago, I listened to the different types of coughs in order to give a more accurate description to the nurse on the phone.

I will be keeping this link bookmarked! It has already come in extremely helpful to me, and I’m sure it will continue to do so, especially with winter coming.

Ugh. That’s directed towards flu season in particular. I like other aspects of winter.
