The Holiday Photo. Do you have the perfect holiday photo of your family? Or are you still on the quest to take that elusive picture? The one shining moment where everyone is dressed nicely, smiling, and facing the camera all at the same time before the chaos of the Holiday descends?
My family is young so I haven’t given up hope of this happening yet. So far though it isn’t the “perfect” holiday photos that I love the most. I love the ones of my kids being funny and making faces, dressing up in Christmas Jammies and wearing bows on their heads on Christmas Eve, the ones where we are hugging each other and sharing tender moments. All of these rate pretty close to perfect for me!

All-time favorite picture of my daughter- my in-laws were looking for a way to announce their new grand piano and their new grand baby! Ernie had just barely started sitting, so we had to snap fast before she fell over.
I love this picture so much! It had snowed 18 inches the night before, everything was covered in the prettiest layer of fresh snow. My kids were happy, even though it was freezing, and there was hardly any fighting! Also, we lost our little brown dog Leo a few months after this picture was taken. It was one of the last picture’s we had of him. Good memories!
I love this picture I took last year for Christmas, although it was very hard to get all three of the kids to look at the camera at once it was fun taking the photo!
I am now a fan of Creative Memories on Facebook (Brandy Tanner)
Our kids are finally at the age where they smile politely for their Christmas picture.
This is our Christmas card for this year.
Emily asked over and over for a Santa suit from Santa. That’s really the main thing she wanted last Christmas. She was thrilled.
Our first ever holiday photo!

We have to grab family pictures now whenever our oldest son is home from college. Here is one my mother-in-law snapped that is now our Christmas card.
This picture was taken at our Thanksgiving. It is my mother, her three children (including me) and all thirteen grandchildren. Also included is our Aunt Eileen and my brother’s wife’s mother (here from Bulgaria!) Very special picture!
Our favorite Christmas Photo: Newlyweds + 1 Cat (named Angel) dressed up like Santa = True Christmas Cheer!!!
Our most recent family photo. My favorite because it includes EVERY ONE including out new little addition.
Here’s one of just the kids. I’d rather be behind the camera than in front of it!
My Faveorite picture from his First Christmas!!
I love this picture because it was our first big “grown up” tree. The boys were in awe of this huge tree and constantly asked us to turn out all the lights so they could look at the tree…
We just had this taken – I love the look on my four year old’s face!
This is the card my mom would love to send!
I know I can’t win. I just love this picture. Hee Hee.
We tend to go both ways…a little bit of naughty AND nice!
One of my favorites…
You have to know the story…or it makes no sense. Our horse is named Frosty…we had to dress the horses up for Halloween, and so we picked Frosty the SnowHorse…isn’t he cute?
That will be our card to our horse friends this year. Oh and that’s my daughter who rides him!!
It is near impossible to get all of my children to cooperate in a family photo. But, I love this one, taken at my in-laws last year! I can’t believe how fast they grow!
it may not be perfect, but it sure was cute.
Here’s my favorite…my grandson still believing in the magic of Santa

This is one of my favorites…I got the idea from the prev year when the older 2 were in our church Christmas play. It turned out really cute and they were still young enough to enjoy dressing up too!

This will be this year’s pic. My sister is a whiz w/ the camera but we all got tired of posing. So hubs and I initiated a tickle fest and this is what we got:
This was taken during our family photo shoot at the beach. Our little one was getting tired so daddy put her on his head. She was having a good time up there, so our photographer got out her camera again and just as she started to take pictures, our baby did this! I LOOOOVVVEE this picture!
I love this photo of a perfect Christmas night — quiet, holiday lights are on and presents are being played with.
This is my favorite photo. I love it!!!! I hope I win!!!!

After a trip to a drive thru zoo, we decided to use a picture from the adventure for our Christmas card this year.
funny family photo, but those 4 pups have made us a whole new family.
These GRAND~girls are a mess!
I had asked them to hold hands but the baby would have no part of that!

I’m working on some Christmas photos for this year featuring my dog with reindeer antlers and my daughter with a Santa hat. My first attempt didn’t seem to go so well, and I decided that I would have to wait until I got my husband’s help. However, when I uploaded the “outtakes”, they were priceless! Eventually I’ll get that classic photo, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be sending the outtakes along with it. Here’s one of them. I love the dog’s look (sorta like, “OMG. REALLY?”) as my daughter plays with her hat. Very typical of my family, and thus making it perfect.
I love the Christmas season!!! We have Magic Elves that visit us each year and they’re always up to something!!
Already a fan of CM!!!

I think this will be our Christmas card photo this year! Great contest:-)
Our family seems to be growing faster and faster!
My husband is a Pastor and ever Christmas we take a picture in the Church. Great to look back on and see how much the girls have grown. This year the teens kept complaining that they didn’t like the picture so I decided to have fun with the photo. I went and added hats to our photos. This is the one being sent out to family and friends. They are all in for a huge surprise!!! Thanks for the contest! It was fun sharing.

This is my favorite Christmas photo. Last year was my daughter’s first Christmas and she couldn’t stay awake to open her presents.

This picture is of my Aunt and Uncle in Hawaii on the air force base in 1954. I had to share
I took this picture of me using a sparkler and a 30 second exposure. This will be my chrismas card this year, I hope you all enjoy it
I love this picture of our tree all decorated and lit up.
My daughters first Christmas Cooking! I sewed her the apron as a gift since I didn’t have to cook! ~ Thanks for the chance to win such a lovely Creative Memories prize package!
HOLY moly are there some fantastic photos here.
RIGHT up our alley – photos are our favorite.
They typically make us all smile in general, but these photos are all so fun.
This picture always cracks me up. My brother cut my sister’s hair and they both got a whipping for it. Him because he did it, her because she let him. It however did not stop Santa from visiting.
Old fashioned Christmas.

Here’s a photo of our mischievous cat, Teddy, trying to look innocent while tangled up in the tree lights.
Trying again with the photo!
This was our first Christmas card as a married couple. We wanted to inlclude our dog, Harper in the photo as well. We knew that being a Golden Retriever, she would have no problem holding the letter “O” in her mouth. We think it was a fun and creative way to make a Christmas card and showcase our new family.
Oops, the picture didnt upload. Here it is.
Here is mine picture. Merry Christmas
Didn’t upload. I am trying again
