When I was offered the opportunity to review one of these CurlyQ Cuties creations, I was so excited. I’d been admiring these adorable monsters from afar for a while, and I knew one would make the perfect birthday present for our soon-to-be three-year-old daughter.
CurlyQ Cuties was founded by Stephanie Estrin, a mompreneur, as an alternative to mass-produced toys produced overseas. She began making and selling these plush monsters on Etsy, but they quickly became so popular that she moved her store to the current website and began hiring others to help her create them.
Unlike other stuffed toys, CurlyQ Cuties offer the unique opportunity to customize your monster to look exactly the way you want it. With literally hundreds of thousands of possible combinations, each monster is truly a unique creation.
My husband and I spent a lot of time on the CurlyQ Cuties website, laughing over the adorable monsters and considering our options as we tried to decide which our daughter would like best. We searched the gallery for ideas and to see what the finished monsters looked like, and we finally settled on a red noodle body with bright blue large googly eyes, a straight smile mouth and a turquoise-spotted belly.
Checkout was simple, fast and easy. We were both so excited when the box from CurlyQ Cuties arrived in the mail, and we couldn’t have been happier when we pulled our monster out of the box. Hand sewn from quality anti-pill fleece, the CurlyQ Cutie is adorable and will likely become a beloved member of our family.
While the price of CurlyQ Cuties may be off-putting for some people, I believe that it is a good value for a hand sewn, one-of-a-kind monster, and I’d love to get our other two daughters their own at some point in the future.
If you haven’t yet checked out the CurlyQ Cuties website, head on over and have some fun designing your own monsters. Even if you don’t plan to purchase a monster, it’s still a fun activity for children and adults alike!

I have been to this site – they look so cute!! The price is a little steep when I think of what my boy will be doing to them – lol.
I just received the offer to review one this week. I let my older one pick her favorite. My younger daughter was so upset I finally caved and bought her one. They really are adorable.
