..about mothering, I’ve learned from living with my stepdaughters..

• Patience isn’t a virtue; it’s a necessity.
• We can’t control everything or everyone; no matter how much we want to.
• Sometimes to cope you have to laugh.
• A reaffirmation can change any attitude.
• Strong willed doesn’t mean stubborn; it more closely resembles passionate.
• There are times when life needs to be hard so we can learn a lesson.
• When you take time to understand another’s views you both gain knowledge.
• Even the smallest of problems can make a marriage stronger.
• The white hairs on my head? A badge of honor!
• Love truly is boundless. Just when you’re about to give up it reminds you of why you are here in the first place.
