For many parents, one of our worst fears is something happening to our kids. We hold hands tightly at the mall and in the grocery store, because that fear of what if we let go, what if something happens – that fear is strong.
Hopefully, this fear is never realized for most of us. However, the FBI has introduced its first mobile app, the Child ID App, that could be of help in the event that something does happen to your child.
The App, which allows you to store photographs and vital information about your child(ren), also has a special tab that allows you to email that information to authorities immediately, should the need ever arise. And, because knowledge is power, the FBI’s Child ID App also provides information as to what you should do in those crucial first moments when your child becomes missing – as well as preventative measures, to keep your child safe to limit the likelihood of anything happening.
This app is currently available in iTunes and for iPhone only at this time.
