It is graduation time for that special student and you’ve been looking for just the right gift. Here are some ideas that might provide inspiration.
Money: Always the right color and size.
Mini-refrigerator, microwave or television: For the dorm room.
Computer: Laptop or desktop.
Vacation: A travel trip or a resort vacation provides experience and leisure.
Briefcase or watch: For school or work it is always appropriate.
Clothing giftcard: Getting sizes correct can be so difficult so a gift certificate works great.
Dayplanner, calendar or PDA: Organizing assistance.
Cell phone with paid plan or a pre-paid phone card: To stay in touch, of course.
Luggage: A set or a nice piece is always a quality gift.
Subscription to a favorite magazine
Books: Related to field of interest or classic books
A gift that will always be treasured is what we all aim for when gift buying. That is not always the case unfortunately. But with graduation gifts we really want our gifts to be remembered as very special. Upgrading the gift may be the way.
- For example, instead of just buying a copy of the book for the grad, have the book autographed by the author.
- Another idea is to buy THE best quality of whatever gift you buy.
Graduation is not the end. It is the beginning of the rest of their lives. Celebrating this new beginning means a lot to the graduate and those who hold them dear.
