As my girls have grown up and the fog of the early years has begun to clear, I am beginning to see more and more positives about having twins.
The older they get, the more they begin to go out into the big scary world without me. They started preschool, and dance classes, they stay overnight at grandparents’ houses, and next year they will start school. All of these can be pretty scary for a child on their own, but the huge bonus of being twins is that they always have each other.
My girls have never had separation anxiety from me (unlike my singleton!). As long as they are together, they feel safe and confident. For a mother who worries as much as I do, that is a bonus for me too!
What do you think is the best thing about having multiples?

Nodding my head …in a way when my boys started preschool/daycare so easily I was a concerned because I saw others crying and upset. Then I saw it as a positive that they were confident and happy to separate.
